Alexandra ("Ally") brings over four years of professional experience in the wellness industry, with a lifelong passion for fitness and health. As a competitive soccer player in her youth and later a high-fashion model in New York at the age of 17, Ally gained unique exposure to luxury gyms and boutique wellness centers. These experiences fostered a deep appreciation for creating communal spaces that promote movement and well-being.
At 20, Ally earned her first certification as a Certified Personal Trainer, followed by credentials as a Corrective Exercise Specialist and a Specialist in Women’s Health and Fitness. Over the years, her career evolved to focus on Women’s Health with a distinct ancestral approach, inspired by her heritage as a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Ally actively serves as an ambassador for her tribe, merging her cultural roots with her wellness philosophy.
Her professional journey has included roles at prominent fitness facilities in Virginia Beach, such as Wareing’s Gym, Fully Alive Personal Training, and Inlet Fitness. These experiences have equipped Ally with the knowledge and passion to address gaps in the wellness industry. She is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space for women—a sanctuary amidst the often overwhelming world of health and fitness. She aims to support women’s mental, physical, and spiritual health, fostering a community rooted in empowerment and balance.
1. ANCESTRALLY-ALIGNED.
So much came before us. Our ancestors loved, lost, communed, and fought for us to breathe on this earth today. It’s kind of incredible when you think about it. Paying homage to their traditions and sharing their earthen wisdom is how we honor them—and ourselves.
2. BALANCED.
There’s a delicate harmony in the natural order. Our fast-paced world can be a little harsher, and it’s easy to get swept up in the grind. We get it because we live it too. It’s unrealistic to axe our contemporary conveniences, so we balance them with nature, for a sound, rooted existence wherever we are.
3. RELATABLE.
The wellness world can be a bit alienating to someone just discovering a more holistic way of life. That’s why we strive to communicate like real people from real places. We stick with what we know. So when we talk to newcomers about our ancestral knowledge, we do it in a chill and fun way—as chill and fun as life-altering ancient remedies could be.
4. GENUINE.
It can be difficult to stay grounded in the face of our digital demand. But we’ve found that embodying our truest selves is the ticket to inner peace and outer healing. We can tell when something’s detached and forced—and the universe always finds a way to reveal what’s not working. It’s true what they say: real does recognize real.
5. UPLIFTING.
Shock value. Sheer panic. That isn’t Ohoyo. We know there are harsh realities to uncover when learning about the questionable things conventional medicine has led us to believe. But we’re here to soothe the shock and make raw health empowering and attainable.
6. BOLD.
Fear is not a driving force. For an energetic existence, we choose to embody vitality. We believe so fervently in the healing rituals we share, that societal pressures, well, don’t pressure us. We’re confident in our ancestral nutritional choices, and we hope that certainty becomes contagious.
